Born Eric Banadinovich on August 9, 1968.

Began his career as a comedian in the sketch comedy series called Full Frontal

Played the role of American Delta Sergeant Norm 'Hoot' Gibson in Black Hawk Down (2001)

Was Bruce Banner in the Ang Lee directed film Hulk (2003).

Is considered in Australia as an accomplished dramatic actor and comedian.

Married to Rebecca Gleeson in 1997, after Bana proposed to her while on a trip to the United States after being named "Bachelor of the Year" in 1996 by Cleo Magazine.

Has two children, Klaus and Sophia and limits his as his work to one film per year so he can spend time with his family at their home in Melbourne

Is a motor racing enthusiast, and participates in various motor racing competitions in Australia.

Purchased his first car, a 1973 XB Ford Falcon coupé, at the age of fifteen for AU$1100.

In 2004, Bana purchased a Porsche 944 to compete in Australia's Porsche Challenge.
